At the first glance, I thought the character was a man, but taking a closer look, it seems to me that She could be a lady wearing a riding jacket from early 19th century. It's a lovely painting and highly collectible art regardless.
Condition: Good Vintage Condition with trace of age. Tarnish on frame metal. Stain and minor torn at the paper back.
